About these terms
These terms apply to purchases made through the La Céramique by Sarah website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
La Céramique by Sarah is operated by Sarah Thuries, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

Handmade products
All items are individually handmade in small batches. Small variations in dimensions, shape, glaze coverage, surface texture, pattern placement and colour are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. I make every effort to describe and photograph each product accurately.
Product use and care
Please follow any care instructions included in the product description or supplied with your order.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, ceramic products should be handled carefully and protected from sudden changes in temperature. Decorative pieces, candleholders, wax burners and other specialist products must only be used for their stated purpose and should never be left unattended while in use.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Payment must be received in full before an order is prepared or dispatched.
Order acceptance
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation. I reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where:
An item is unavailable because of an inventory error
The price or product information contains an obvious error
I am unable to deliver to the address provided
The order is suspected to be fraudulent
A binding sales contract is formed once the order has been accepted and confirmed.
Processing and delivery
Estimated processing and delivery times are displayed on the website or during checkout. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate. I cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Returns and cancellations
Returns and cancellations are handled in accordance with the Return Policy displayed on this website.
Intellectual property
All photographs, product designs, text, branding, illustrations and other content displayed on this website belong to La Céramique by Sarah unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, La Céramique by Sarah will not be responsible for losses caused by misuse of a product, failure to follow care instructions or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. The terms applying to your order will be those displayed at the time the order is placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Customers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory rights available under the laws of their country of residence.
